Valentine Day 2012- For my Family

There is not enough time for words,
the emotions spills to fast.
Sometimes my heart is racing and so 
all I can do is gasp-
               at how much I love you.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe the oceans of blues,
the light and deep, that swallow your eyes.
My mind is wrapped in memories of what was and what
will be and so there are only sighs-
                 of how much I love you.

Sometimes life is a bully and we get hit with wounds, trials, early goodbyes. 
I want to help, or protect you , but all I have it crys-
                   of how much I love you.

I am counting on the fact that all I have is love and that it is so 
apparent, relevant, and true.
That the legacy you will carry with you, always and forever-
                        is how much I love you.

Words with Reason

Studying words and more imortantly their meaning is a hobby of mine, and I am confident my husband would atest that I put my knowledge of words to use on a frequent daily basis! Understanding their meaning and applying that meaning goes beyond a hobby and has become a passionate goal and so I hope that all involved in my life can see my words come with reason. I think their is no greater gift to give than the right word at the right moment. Sentences filled with delibrate encouragement, love, kindness; and when needed ,gentle correction. The greatest architect cannot out design one who intentionally structures their verbal, writtten or typed word. That word was purposed and  placed to construct what it means in your life by the one who sent it. Speech is so simple to misuse but the consequences can be complex. Come along with me as I perservere to proceed in a journey where there are words with reason.
